 <title>SMART Scholarships</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Applications have been invited  the Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship-for-Service Program. This is a highly-selective, prestigious, national program that fully supports their education, including full tuition and a very generous stipend in the range of $25,000 a year for undergraduates and $41,000 for doctoral candidates, while they are in school. It also includes a book allowance of $1,000 a year, health insurance, summer internships, and travel fees for internships. Students must be U.S. Citizens, able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance, and be willing to work in a defense laboratory upon graduation. There will be approximately 300 new awards this year. &lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Honeywell Innovators Scholarship</title>

 <description>Honeywell has invited applications for its Innovators Scholarship program. These scholarships are meant for students who have a strong curiosity, complemented by a drive and an energy to follow this curiosity.  Additional requirements for the program are the following:
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;must be a current student pursuing a degree in aerospace, chemical, computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering;
&lt;li&gt;must have a strong academic background; and
&lt;li&gt;must be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
&lt;/ul&gt;
If you are selected, you would be given a special internship opportunity and a $10,000 scholarship.

The application deadline is November 30, 2009.
